Linux users to MS: We want our refund

Linux users in Northern California already are rallying around a plan to ask Microsoft Corp. for a refund because they don't use Windows. A group of Linux supporters is planning to "present a calm and polite, but firm, request for our refund" at the company's offices in Foster City, California. "This is not about Windows sucks . . . we don't use it, so we want a refund," said Don Marti, Jr. of Linux marketing firm Electric Lichen.

Those joining in the protest must present documentation they don't use Windows, according to a Web site created for the event.
