With Word, you are not limited to written comments. If you have a microphone and a sound card for your computer, you can also add your spoken comments to a document. To add a voice comment, follow these steps:
Click in your document where you want the comment to play.
Select and click the Insert Voice button on the Reviewing toolbar. (In Word 2002, click the Comment button arrow and select Voice comment.)
Click the Record button and begin speaking; when you have finished, click the Stop button.
Close the Sound Object dialogue box.
To hear a comment in your document, double-click its sound icon. The Sound Object dialogue box will open and play back the comment.
