A final version of Novell's SuSE Linux 10.1 is expected to be ready later this month and will offer such features as the OpenOffice.org 2.0 office suite to the latest Firefox Web browser, the company announced on Monday. SuSE Linux 10.1 will include a firewall, a spam blocker and antivirus tools, along with email and instant messaging clients and multimedia tools such as graphics creation.

A developer version of Suse Linux 10.1 was made available on opensuse.org on Monday for download. A free final version is scheduled to be released later this month. A retail version, which is expected to sell for $59.95 in the US, will be available soon after.
