Want to know why you should upgrade to Visual Studio 2005? Wondering what new features are in there, and how they’ll help you? We could have the answers. In an exclusive interview, Mark Quirk, head of technology for the developer and platform group at Microsoft UK, will be answering questions from ZDNet UK readers about the new product range.

The build-up to this launch has taken years and has included numerous previews, betas and a constant drip-feed of information over 18 months. Will the end product live up to the expectations Microsoft has given us?

We've previewed many of the features you can expect from Visual Studio 2005, including Edit and Continue, ClickOnce and Smart Tasks, but do they really deliver enough value to justify the move to the new version?

If you’re concerned about the costs of upgrading, or how it will affect your working practices this is your chance to get even more answers ahead of the official launch next Monday.

We’ll put your questions to Mark and publish a selection next week.

Email us your questions, or post them as a Talkback to this article.
