Palm, Adobe team on book format

Palm Computing and Adobe Systems on Tuesday announced plans to work together to develop a version of Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) for the Palm platform, which includes the 3Com division's software and hardware.

PDF will allow electronic books and other documents to be formatted for reading on Palm handhelds.
