Oooops... Philips dumps Win CE

Philips is dumping its Nino family of Windows CE handheld computers.

The consumer electronics company is the second major vendor to pull a CE-based product. Last month LG Electronics decided to pull its range of Phenom devices.

In a statement, Philips said it would sell its remaining Nino 500 and 200 models and refocus its resources on developing voice and data products.
