The research, published by US-based Business Computer News, gives TurboLinux Workstation J 4.0 a massive 24% share of the current Japanese OS market -- way ahead of Windows 98, Macintosh and all other Linux OSs.

At first glance the figures seem mighty impressive but they are in fact only based on sales of TurboLinux since it was launched one week ago. It remains to be seen whether this market lead can be sustained.
