Corel to release free WordPerfect for Linux today

WordPerfect 8 for Linux Personal Edition is free for non-commercial use, and includes drawing tools, a spelling and grammar checker, html authoring and spreadsheet functions. A more complete version of WordPerfect 8, with extra fonts, clipart, samples and tools, will be available for $69.95 (£42.65) on CD-ROM. A Server Edition, which integrates with Oracle databases, will cost $495 (£300).
