Iomega sues SyQuest over patent violations

The Zip drive maker has filed a suit with a US District Court, alleging struggling SyQuest infringed patents and trademarks relating to read/write protection and Jaz cartridge design.

Iomega last week said it is evaluating a consumer class suit which alleges it breached product warranties.
