Visio buy adds CAD muscle

The $6.7 million purchase will allow Visio to build Boomerang code into future products. The firm's current Visio Technical product is intended to combine the ease of use of Visio's diagramming tools with the ability to create engineering and other technical schematics.
Separately, Visio International said it now has more than one million Visio users.
