Xerox releases scanning software suite

The product allows scanned images to be scanned and distributed via fax, e-mail or the Web. Images are automatically optimised and when dragged onto application icons automatically assume the relevant file format. Files dropped on a Word icon assume a DOC format and are OCRed through Xerox's Textbridge Pro 96, for example. File searching is achieved through Verity's Topic engine.

Pagis Pro 97 will ship next month at £199 + VAT.
