Psion consults Oracle for remote comms

UK palmtop vendor Psion has received a boost with the news that Oracle will develop a key piece of remote communications software for the London-based firm's EPOC platform.

Under the terms of the agreement Oracle will develop its Mobile Agents software to work with Psion Series 3 and Workabout handheld computers. The software will allow field workers to access any data over LANs, phone lines and wireless networks.
