Panther cuts its PowerPC teeth

The Panther PowerPC is expected to cost under £2,000 + VAT for a mini-tower or desktop case with 200MHz 603e PowerPC processor, 512Kb L2 cache, 32Mb RAM, 2Gb hard drive, eight-speed CD-ROM drive, Matrox Millenium graphics card, 15-inch Samsung monitor and Windows NT 4.0.

Optional peripherals include a V.34 fax modem, 800Mb tape streamer and Ethernet card.
