The radio frequency lab where mobile malware is tested is housed in a Faraday cage in order to minimise the effects of transmission. "The Faraday cage stops radio waves when we are testing mobile malware," said Jarno Niemela, a senior antivirus researcher at F-Secure. The cage has a dual metal layer and is copper-lined.
