Microsoft has issued six patches — four of them critical — to fix 15 flaws in its software.

The patches affect a variety of programs, including Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 (one critical) and Microsoft Office (one important).

The software giant also advises users in its June 2007 security bulletins to update to Windows XP Service Pack 2.

All of the security patches are available via the Microsoft update.
