Judge set to rule on Mitnick plea

The federal chapter of imprisoned hacker Kevin Mitnick's four-year wait for justice may be coming to an end. On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Marianne Pfaelzer is expected to rule on a plea agreement that Mitnick signed with federal prosecutors last week.
If Pfaelzer OKs Mitnick's guilty plea to federal hacking charges he could be free by the end of the year -- only to face state charges.
