CNET Networks UK Business Tech Awards 2008

For the sixth year running, ZDNet.co.uk is delighted to present the winners of our company-wide Business Technology awards.

Our editorial teams, together with panels of industry judges, have burned the midnight oil — even at today's inflated prices — and are very pleased to present the best of the contestants across a wide range of IT industry sectors. Every winner has been voted for after intense discussion, and the mix of familiar and unfamiliar names shows that UK IT remains an innovative and lively business to be in.

By the time you read this, the awards ceremony will be over, the dinner jackets and ball gowns locked away for another year, and everyone's thoughts will turn to 2009. Although the economic environment may be changing rapidly, innovation, flexible thinking and solid design will remain essential components to success. It is with great pleasure that we take this opportunity to show all three are still in plentiful supply.
