Benhamou, chief executive of Palm from 2001 to 2003, is currently the chairman and chief executive of Benhamou Global Ventures, which provides investment for technology start-ups.

Finjan claims that Benhamou's tech-management experience (he was also chief executive of 3Com Corporation from 1990 to 2000) will help the 10-year-old company as it grows.
