Have you had outstanding service and support from your IT supplier? If so, we want to hear about it. Your testimonial could help your supplier win the coveted IT Service and Support award in the CNET Networks UK Technology Awards 2004.

We are looking for those technology vendors -- whether supplying hardware, software or services -- who have provided you with the best levels of customer service and support for your business purchases.

We're interested in your experiences at every stage of the buying process - whether it's pre-sales support (on or offline), through consultancy services (if any) and the sales process itself, to after-sales support and overall account management. If you've got a positive experience to share then tell us by clicking here.

We are also still taking nominations for the Outstanding Contribution to UK Technology awards. For this, we are looking for the individual or company who has provided the biggest boost to the UK technology industry. They may have created an important technology or been an essential contributor to the debates around technology; they could be a champion of those who use technology, or may have contributed to policy in the technology arena over the past 12 months. If you've been impressed, let us know here.

Winners will be announced at a spectacular gala dinner at the London's Park Lane Hotel on the evening of ZDNet's IT Priorities conference. You can still register for the conference here, but remember, the Early Bird discount period ends on 31 August.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
