The Crusoe chip Roundup

There's no doubt that Transmeta's first foray into the land of mobile processors has caused a stir, not least because it looks as though its Crusoe chip will be taking on the likes of Arm and Intel with experts predicting a major shakeup.
Launched Wednesday in the US, the marketing men at Transmeta made sure Linus Torvalds was there to lend his support for the processor, which he helped develop.
