Imagine Entertainment and Dreamworks SKG announced Monday they will team up to create Pop.com, a new Internet entertainment company. The site will focus on producing and broadcasting 1-6 minute streaming video segments.

The new company is an equal partnership between some of Hollywood's biggest players, including Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard. It will be funded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen' s investment organization, Vulcan Ventures.
