News Burst: Disney says Go

The Walt Disney Co. and Infoseek Corp. formally launched their new Web portal, the GO network, at a press event in New York Tuesday. The portal has been in beta for the past several weeks, and is expected to combine content from Disney's ESPN and ABC networks with Infoseek's search and portal capabilities.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
