Hers has not been an easy job: persuading businesses to act against a bug they can't see is no easy task. She has not shirked from hard hitting criticism and has always been honest with her views, a trait which has had Action 2000's PR machine running into overdrive at times.

"It's not an easy job, but someone's got to do it," Gwynneth Flower '98.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
