Microsoft last week released Office SR2 - a new service release for Office 97. SR2 includes fixes for several bugs in Office 97 not fixed in the February SR1 release, including the Excel 97 re-calculation patch, which solves a bug that can prevent spreadsheet cells from recalculating properly; an email forms-fix utility, which lets Exchange and Outlook 97 be used together; updated support for the euro currency; and updates to ensure proper date handling and year 2000-compliance.
