News Burst: Novell files copyright suit

Novell has filed suit against PMI Industries of San Diego, in the US accusing it of selling Novell NetWare upgrades as new products. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court of Southern California, also accuses PMI of selling stolen versions of other Novell software.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
