ARIS buys UK training firm Barefoot

The move increases ARIS's UK training presence following its acquisition of training and consultancy company Oxford Computer Group (OCG) last year.
ARIS, a mainly Microsoft-focussed training and consultancy company based in Seattle, already has nine classrooms in London through OCG, while London-based Barefoot operates 17 classrooms in London.
Barefoot is healthy. It posted revenues of $7.3m last year with profits at $661,000. It is also a Microsoft Authorised Technical Education Centre (ATEC) and therefore fits into ARIS's core business.
OCG managing director Hugh Simpson-Wells will assume full responsibility for Barefoot's operations.
"This acquisition makes ARIS a leading provider of IT services in the growing London market," said Paul Song, president and CEO of ARIS Corporation.. "We believe our combined operations will make us the largest IT education provider in London, with 26 classrooms and over 250 training seats. This also makes us one of the largest Microsoft ATECs in the UK."
