MS to host London Web TechEd conference

The March 31 one-day conference will spotlight the gamut of the software giant's Internet professional-based activities and is expected to pull in over 800 Web professionals and other delegates. Venue is the Wembley Conference Centre in London.

Microsoft will use the occasion to launch Site Server 3.0 and the company will also focus on Internet Explorer 4.0 customisation and IIS 4.0.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
