The 233MHz Pentium MMX-based unit will offer a 14.1-inch TFT screen and internal DVD-ROM drive as well as 3D Dolby surround-sound and other high-end features.

Big Blue will also launch new enterprise servers.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
