Netscape unmoved by MS/Apple IE deal

"Microsoft was giving away the browser and now they're paying people to take it," said Sam Sethi, marketing manager, referring to the $150 million investment by Bill Gates's company.

"Bill probably earned that much in his sleep last night. Microsoft has not delivered on its promises to the Mac market and we have a 90 per cent market share in Mac browsers. If anybody believes they will synchronise IE releases they've got some thinking to do."
