HP ships £162 colour DeskJet

The HP DeskJet 670C is a 4ppm, 600 x 600dpi four-colour, dual-cartridge unit aimed at replacing dot-matrix devices. The price includes a 100-sheet input tray with envelope feeder and one-year warranty.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
