Comdex UK kicks off

Over 200 exhibitors are showing wares at the Earls Court space according to show organiser, Softbank Comdex. They include Compaq, UUNet, Cellnet, Unisys and Tandem. The show incorporates the UK Internet Show '97 and Object World '97 and runs through Saturday.
Highlights include Casio's Cassiopeia Windows CE handheld PC; Ricoh RDC-2E and Sanyo digiCAM digital cameras; and TMC Technology's Pentium II motherboard.
