Vendors flock to exhibit at MS Java Gallery

The Web site contains several sets of free downloadable Java tools from companies that include Intel, Aimtech, Dimension X and NetDynamics. The applications vary from Dimension X's 2D graphics tool Liquid Motion Pro, to Stingray's Objective Blend user-interface creator. The site also features information on ActiveX technology.
Although Sun supports Microsoft's promotion of Java, its daughter company JavaSoft has designated Gamelan its official Java directory.
