Brother tops range with 200MHz Pentium Pro PC

The Brother Professor 200 Multimedia Powerhouse PC (£2,160 + VAT) comes in a mini-tower design and has 32Mb RAM, 256Kb SPB cache, 2Gb hard drive, eight-speed CD-ROM drive, ATI graphics card and 17-inch monitor with built-in stereo speakers.

The system comes pre-installed with Windows 95 and Lotus SmartSuite, or Windows NT 4.0.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
