IntranetWare, which includes NetWare 4.11, costs £690 + VAT for a five-user license, ranging to £30,000 + VAT for a 1,000-user license. Upgrades from any version of Netware 2, 3 or 4.x cost £310 + VAT for a 5-user upgrade and £5,250 + VAT for a 1,000-user upgrade.
Novell claims a NetWare user base of 55 million customers. It preceded shipment of IntranetWare with a 47-city global campaign to publicise the product to resellers and Novell partners.
