Based on the 133MHz Pentium, the series starts at £1,099 + VAT with 16Mb SDRAM, 256Kb SPB cache, 1.6Gb hard drive, eight-speed CD-ROM drive, Trio V+ graphics with 2Mb DRAM, 15-inch monitor and Microsoft Office Professional. The systems use a new chassis that Dell says offers better cooling and easier access to internals through thumbscrews. A one-year return-to-base warranty is standard.

Dell can be contacted by telephone on 01344-720000.
