UK PC retailer Silica is offering Escom owners a trade-in for its own range of systems. Buyers will get a minimum £100 for systems bought from the defunct German firm as part-payment for IBM and Hyundai systems and IBM, Olivetti and Texas Instruments notebooks. The deal applies to pay-per-month deals as well as outright purchases. Silica is also offering one-year on-site warranties for Escom owners starting at £75, and technical advice is available on a premium rate number, 0891-517588. More information is available by telephone on 01483-718100.
