At the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, chief technology officer Ari Balogh says he's working on "rewiring Yahoo from the inside out" through a developer platform called "Yahoo Open Strategy".

The goal of Yahoo Open Strategy is to help Yahoo's front page, plus properties such as Yahoo Mail, offer a more relevant and contextualised user experience. Users will also be able to add applications from Yahoo and third parties on various pages.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
