Home MP3 stereo system planned by Be

Software firm Be is reportedly working on a reference platform for a networked home stereo MP3 system called Aura.

Reports suggest the company will create home units for vendors to customize for their own markets. The plan is to place digital music systems in the home without the need for a traditional PC.

The unit will be networked so music can be streamed, or downloaded from the net, as well as around the house. Music could come from CDs, Internet radio streams or from Aura's hard drive.

Units based on Aura are expected next year.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
