Hull telco Kingston Communications is to extend its network to an additional 6,500 homes in East Yorkshire.

The company is due to begin laying cables this week, with the first customers expected to be connected by early next year. This follows July's network expansion to 7,000 homes.

Kingston subscribers can sign up for unlimited Internet access for £12.77 a month and also access the company's ADSL-based interactive television services.
