News Burst: Halifax admits online security breach

The Halifax bank has admitted a flaw in its online security after a customer gained unauthorised access to Internet trading accounts Sunday.

The bank immediately pulled the plug on its Internet share dealing system but the incident will provide the first real test of customer and investor confidence in the security of Britain's online financial institutions.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
