Another online banking service has entered the fray to try and get its hands on the hard-earned cash of Britain's Internet users.

Smile.co.uk, set up by the Co-operative bank, is a new banking service that operates entirely via the Internet. It also offers a few tempting extras in comparison to other "clicks and mortar" banks. These include just 4.9 percent APR until Aril 30, 2000 for introductory credit card holders and 46 days' free credit.

Smile will officially go live on 28 October.
