We don't trust the Net - survey

Which? Online's survey revealed that half of those surveyed believe fraud is a major issue on the Internet. Two thirds believe the Net is used by fanatics to promote their racist or extreme religious views.

On a more positive note, 62 percent of those surveyed think shopping on the Net is as safe as using a mail order catalogue and over a quarter had actually bought goods over the Internet.
