US Report: Net tax moratorium still pending

With just a week to go before Congress adjourns for the year, Senate staffers said Tuesday it now appears debate on the bill might not occur until Wednesday, if at all. If the Senate does not take up the bill, it will die at the end of the session.
Meanwhile, as Senators vie to attach other legislation to the bill, such as Sen. Dan Coats' controversial CDA II bill, debate over its future is intensifying behind the scenes, observers said.
