Net Politics Focus: Internet bills up in the air

Competing versions of an e-commerce tax ban are still pending in the House, along with a controversial online copyright bill that has already gained Senate approval. Meanwhile, a key Internet commerce report to President Clinton by White House officials, originally set for release by July 31, now appears delayed until Congress reconvenes in September.
