Digital's StrongARM processor is the basis of the next generation of Java-enabled Internet and Intranet devices. The SA-110 processor is used in devices from Wyse, Boundless, LG electronics, Acorn and Alphavision.

Digital's StrongARM processor offers speeds from 100MHz/115 MIPS to 233MHz/270 MIPS. The processor also offers a high performance-to-power ratio operating at low power levels.

LG Electronics is to use the processor in its LG Java computer which it has been exhibiting at the Comdex trade show this week.

Manufacturers have praised the devices ability to stay cool in the small enclosures of Network Computers without the need of a fan.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
