Profits were $7.66 million for the quarter ending September 30, up from close to zero for the equivalent quarter a year ago. Revenues were up to $100 million from $23.3 million. The results sent Netscape's stock up 12 per cent.
Netscape said the numbers reflected the shift of corporates to intra-net solutions.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
