The kiosks feature Netscape Navigator software and a touchscreen, allowing visitors to see product and service information and order goods through credit card and debit card transactions. ICL expects to see interest in areas such as ticketing, retail and banking, and says the kiosks will begin appearing in the UK soon.

ICL piloted the Internet kiosk at July's Gothenburg Festival where users could access information and images on festival sponsors and events.

ICL can be contacted by telephone on 0181-565 7993.
