Motorola rolls PowerPC into UK

The StarMax entry-level 3000 and top-end 4000 series use PowerPC 603e and 604e chips, respectively, and come in mini-tower or desktop cases.

The StarMax 3000 has a standard configuration of 256Kb L2 cache, 16Mb RAM, 1.2Gb hard drive and three PCI slots. The mini-tower option offers 32Mb RAM, 2.5Gb hard drive and five PCI slots.

Motorola's StarMax 4000 contains 512Kb L2 cache, 16MB RAM, 2Mb to 4Mb video EDO DRAM, 1.2Gb hard drive and three PCI slots. The mini-tower has a similar configuration, adding 32Mb RAM, a 2.5Gb hard drive and five PCI slots. Prices are expected to start at 」1,299.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
