The ScanMan Colour 2000 (£120; all prices quoted are estimated street prices including VAT) is the USB product. Also available with a parallel port connection, the handheld scanner can capture images in 16.7 million colours at optical resolutions up to 800dpi. The parallel port version is available in October, followed by the USB implementation by year-end.

Also new is the SurfMan Cordless Internet Controller (£70 including VAT), a three-button radio-controlled handheld device with a CyberJump software feature that provides quick access to Netscape Navigator shortcuts

Another wire-free product that uses radio technology is the Cordless MouseMan Pro (£60 including VAT) with the latest version of Logitech's MouseWare software including the ability to jump to key Windows commands, using the HyperJump feature. The mouse will operate up to two metres away from a PC.

The final product is the PageScan Colour Pro (£320 including VAT on the street), an upgrade to the firm's sheet-fed parallel port scanner that supports 16.7 million colour scanning and includes a 10-sheet document feeder. The product now includes a software bundle comprising Adobe's PhotoDeluxe image editing software, Xerox's Textbridge OCR package, and Logitech's Documagix PaperMaster file manager utility.

All products except for the ScanMan Colour 2000 are available from the end of September.

Logitech can be contacted by telephone on 01344-894300.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
