The firm said the product cuts out duplicated finds and lets users download files by dragging them onto desktops. Using an app-let called NetFileFind, it can also be used to scan through applications stored on the user's hard drive and build links to relevant vendor's FTP sites so that patches and fixes can be quickly downloaded, optionally as zipped files. Another feature, called Notify, lets users select Web sites that can be automatically scanned for updates and then downloaded.

Pricing and availability date are to be confirmed.

Symantec can be contacted by telephone on 01628-592222.

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
